• Improve your dog’s circulation and physical & emotional well-being
• Maintain better balance in your dog’s body and mind
• Increase your dog’s flexibility and resilience from physical or emotional stress
• Help your dog recover from fatigue or discomfort faster

• . . . and much more!
Yoko Ichikawa, our certified dog massage practitioner, fully respects your dog’s preferences and makes each session as comfortable for you and your dog as possible. Her approach is gentle relaxation massage, which is beneficial for any dog.
Also, what makes her approach different is that she uses Reiki along with massage when needed. Reiki is an energy-based technique that promotes stress reduction and relaxation, as well as physical healing, by stimulating the dog's natural healing abilities to help the dog regain homeostasis or balance naturally, through the use of positive healing energy.
Reiki can be done with or without touching the dog, with no harmful effects. This allows the dog to benefit from her session even if your dog is afraid of being touched by a person.
Each session can be tailored for your dog with only massage, only Reiki, or a combination of both as you and your dog prefer and/or need. Sessions range from a few minutes to about 45 minutes, depending on your dog’s acceptance and need.
Yoko would be happy to answer any questions you may have, and will give you brief feedback after a session.
Sessions will be offered at K9 Translations by appointment. In-home sessions are available for massage and Reiki if requested (an additional travel fee will be applied). Distance sessions are also available for Reiki.
Your dog’s well-being is our priority!
