In this class we cover learning theory and how to communicate effectively with your puppy. We also learn how to teach basic obedience skills, tackle common puppy issues, and build relationship and engagement to lay a solid foundation for future training. Skills covered include, loose leash walking, recall, and basic behaviors, such as sit, down, and stay. Class meets once a week for 6 weeks.

Has your puppy turned into a teenager?
This class is for the adolescent dogs who need some refreshers in manners and help working through growing needs, socially and mentally. We work on neutrality and calm behavior around distractions, learning how to move our bodies, and engagement with our handlers. There is a strong focus on recall work and adding enrichment to our daily lives.
This class is best for adolescents, 6 to 24 months, who have some basic obedience, but all are welcome.
For puppies 25 weeks to 2 years old. In this class we cover learning theory and how to communicate effectively with your adolescent. We also learn how to teach basic obedience skills, tackle common adolescent issues, and build relationship and engagement to lay a solid foundation for future training and building on already learned skills. Build upon the foundation you created in Life Skills. Learn how to teach your dog the skills they will need if you decide to move on into sports. Increase your understanding of proper training techniques and learning theory.

Rally-FrEe is a fun sport combining trick behaviors of Musical Freestyle with the format of Rally-Obedience. It emphasizes the precise execution of fundamental freestyle and obedience skills while encouraging creative behaviors on a Rally-O style course. This class introduces you to some basic behaviors from Novice signs and foundation skills of heelwork.
Prerequisites: Dog Basics/Life Skills, Sports Foundations, Building Blocks for Sports, or equivalent class, or instructor's permission.
Musical Freestyle is a fun and creative sport in which you will teach your dog a variety of tricks, including heeling, in order to build a routine to perform to music.

Class safely introduces the dog and handler to agility obstacles (tunnels, teeter totter, weave poles, and of course jumps, etc., etc.) and handling maneuvers to direct the dog thru a sequence of obstacles. Experience the thrill of enhancing your bond with your dog as you both enjoy the FUN that is accomplishing and learning about dog agility!

Depending on the class level, learn how to safely introduce your dog and to agility obstacles and handling maneuvers to direct the dog thru a sequence of obstacles or develop the skill necessary for running courses at a competitive level.

With jumps being the most frequent obstacle in agility, it is vital to develop and maintain proper jump mechanics. Indeed, dogs are natural jumpers BUT jumping up to 20 obstacles, under handler direction, with tight turns, discriminations and at full speed is a challenge.

Stimulate your dog’s brain with the wonderful world of nose work. Our classes will introduce you to scent for competition or real-world detection work but it’s always fun!

Build on skills learned in Reactivity 1. Increase time on the floor and ability to focus and work in the presence of other dogs and humans.
